Scope of these terms
These terms apply when you browse or use the public Invicta Group Cyber website. By using the site, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
These are website terms, not the contract for a consultancy engagement. Paid work is governed by the proposal, statement of work and terms signed by the relevant parties. If those documents conflict with this page, the signed engagement documents take priority for that work.
Website information
The website provides general information about our services, technical subjects and ways to contact us. It is not legal advice, formal security advice for your particular systems, or a substitute for an assessment carried out under an agreed scope.
Cyber Security information changes quickly. We take reasonable care with published material but do not promise that every page is complete, current or suitable for your particular circumstances. Contacting us does not create a client relationship or a duty to act until a written engagement is agreed.
Acceptable use
You may use the website for lawful personal or business research. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, infrastructure or another account;
- scan, probe, exploit, overload or disrupt our systems without specific written permission;
- introduce malicious code, automate abusive traffic or work around access controls;
- copy or use content in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights; or
- use the site for fraud, impersonation, harassment or another unlawful purpose.
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, stop testing and follow the process on our Security page.
Intellectual property
Unless a page says otherwise, the site design, written material, graphics, reports and other original content belong to Invicta Group Cyber or are used under licence. Product names, service marks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may print or save a reasonable extract for your own internal, non-commercial reference as long as you keep the source clear and do not alter its meaning. Any broader reuse, republication or commercial distribution requires prior written permission.
Third-party links
Some pages link to standards, research, vendor documentation or other external websites. A link is provided for context and does not mean we control or endorse everything on the destination site. Third parties apply their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or remove website content when needed for maintenance, security, accuracy or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, but we aim to keep the public information reliable and available.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, Invicta Group Cyber is not responsible for loss caused by relying on general website material instead of obtaining advice for your circumstances, by an external website, or by events outside our reasonable control. Any liability connected to paid consultancy work is governed by the signed terms for that engagement.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site or contact us and how that information is handled.
Governing law and contact
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you under local law.
Questions about these terms should be sent to hello@invictagroupcyber.com.
